Free agent goalkeeper Mickael Landreau has admitted he has not yet made up his mind over which team to join, but did deny that Chelsea are one of the clubs to have made him an offer.

Landreau left Lille earlier this month after terminating his contract by mutual consent with the 2011 Ligue 1 winners. There had been much talk of a breakdown in his relationship with coach Rudi Garcia.

The 33-year-old shot-stopper instantly fielded a number of offers and it was suggested that English Premier League giants Chelsea had provided one of them.

But Landreau has denied that, while it was always more likely he would opt to remain in France anyway as he seeks to break Jean-Luc Ettori’s record for the most Ligue 1 appearances. Ettori has 602, while Landreau has 568.

"Both come from France", he told France football, expanding upon the five offers he has received, "two from southern Europe and another in northern Europe.

"And contrary to what I have read, none from England!"

The Frenchman also promised that he will soon make a decision, saying "I will give you an answer on Sunday."

Landreau started his career at Nantes and soon established himself as the club’s number 1.

He moved on to Paris Saint-Germain for the 2006/07 campaign, before leaving the capital to sign for Lille in 2009.
