Chelsea have made an enquiry about Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Le 10 Sport.
Aubameyang has been in fine form for Les Verts during the current campaign and was tipped for the exit door in January, such is the impact he has made and the suitors he has collected.
The 23-year-old has explained that he could well be leaving this summer if an offer that is acceptable to Saint-Etienne arrives.
Aubameyang has been linked with clubs in England on a regular basis, with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle credited with holding an interest.

Now it seems Chelsea have also become firm fans of the Gabon hitman and are poised to move to add him to their squad for the 2013/14 campaign.
So far this season Aubameyang has hit 14 goals in 25 Ligue 1 games for Les Verts.
He could also lift a trophy with Saint-Etienne before the season is out, with the club in the Coupe de la Ligue final against Rennes.
