Inter and Manchester United have joined the race for FC Copenhagen’s highly rated young striker Andreas Cornelius.

According to Tuttomercato, the 19-year-old has collected the two European powerhouses as admirers as it looks ever more likely that he will be leaving his native Denmark in the summer.

Despite his tender years, Cornelius has burst through to lead the Danish Superliga scoring charts this season, while he has also been handed international recognition with caps for Denmark’s senior side.

Cornelius is well aware of the substantial interest in him and admitted recently that he finds it "fun" to see his name linked with so many prestigious sides.

The striker also conceded that playing his football in England "would be a dream come true" with words which may suggest Inter have their work cut out persuading him to head for Italy.

Cornelius is in no rush to leave Denmark however and has a contract with FC Copenhagen which runs until 2016.

The Danish side may find turning down a substantial offer for the striking starlet in the summer to be a tough task though.
