Arsenal playmaker and Spanish international Santi Cazorla is certain the Gunners and Arsene Wenger got it right when they swooped for defender Nacho Monreal during the January transfer window.

Left-back Monreal has made immediate impact for the London-based side this season since transferring from La Liga outfit Malaga. He has already made five appearances since the transfer and has scored one goal, which proved to be the winner when Arsenal faced Swansea at Liberty Stadium on 16th March.

"I think Arsenal have really got it right with the transfer", Cazorla told the club’s official site. "I spent last season with him at Malaga and he was a vital player for the team."

Cazorla also believes Monreal suits the Gunners’ playing style. "[Arsenal’s] style of play suits him because he’s someone with a lot of movement. He’s adapted to the Premier League very well.
