Galatasaray goal-poacher Burak Yilmaz has explained that he is happy at the Turkish champions and has also asked the club to decide the outcome of any offer received for him.

The 27-year-old has 22 goals in the Turkish Super Lig this season, out of 28 appearances. He was also on target eight times for his club in the Champions League.

"I am very happy at Galatasaray. I have a contract for the next five years here. If there is an offer for me, it is up to the club to decide its outcome”, Yilmaz told Turkish television channel Lig TV.

Spanish side Atletico Madrid are believed to be interested in the Turkish striker, and have pondered him as a possible replacement for Radamael Falcao, should the Colombian forward decide to exit the club this summer.

Yilmaz also hailed the contribution of club team-mates Didier Drogba and Umut Bulut.

“Drogba and I complement each other. He’s an excellent player, and Umut helped us in remaining on top of the table in the first half of the season."

Yilmaz, who signed from Trabzonspor last summer, has a contract with the Turkish league champions until June 2016, with the option of a one-year extension.
