Real Madrid have barged their way into the race for Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

Jovetic is currently being chased by English giants Arsenal and Italian champions Juventus, and the 23-year-old recently fired the starting gun on a departure by admitting he feels the time has come to move on from La Viola.

The Montenegrin is believed to prefer a switch to Juventus, however the Bianconeri are unwilling to pay the €30m cash sum demanded by Fiorentina.

All bets are off on where Jovetic might end up, with the Bernabeu now a possibility.
