Talented French schemer Clement Grenier could yet leave Lyon this summer, his agent has admitted, lifting the lid on the fact that the midfielder has asked a number of questions to Les Gones’ president Jean-Michel Aulas and coach Remi Garde, and has yet to receive an answer.

Grenier has attracted interest from Arsenal over the last year, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger sending Gilles Grimandi to watch the starlet in action, while recently Liverpool joined the race, along with Juventus.

Lyon president Aulas has tried to ward off suitors by insisting that he would want a similar sum to that received by Borussia Dortmund for selling Mario Gotze to Bayern Munich.

But with Grenier’s contract expiring in 2014, Lyon are vulnerable.

"There are a lot of questions around Clement’s situation", his agent Frederic Guerra told French radio station RMC.

"To choose means giving up. Clement has said a lot of things to Jean-Michel Aulas and Remi Garde and is waiting for answers.

"We must review again when he returns from holiday."

And Guerra insists nothing can be taken for granted.

"The trend is that Clement Grenier will perhaps stay, but the reverse is also possible.

"Nothing has been decided, talks still have to take place."
