CSKA Honda midfielder Keisuke Honda is not worried about when his move to desired club AC Milan happens, as long as the deal eventually comes through.

Milan have been eager to take Honda into their ranks, even going as far as trying to create space with a possible Robinho exit.

While the Brazilian’s potential move to Santos stalled due to financial reasons, Milan are still hopeful of bringing Honda over at the end of the year, with his contract expiring in December.

CSKA have not officially come out with any comments to that effect, but Honda has now admitted the Russian club are aware of his intentions.

In a statement quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport, Honda said: "I have spent three-and-a-half happy years at CSKA, but now I want to play for a big club.

"The club knows of Milan’s interest and I want to go. With regards to when the transfer will happen, it will be better to ask my brother who takes care of business.

"For now, let me just say that I will be proud to go to Milan at any time."

Honda’s time at CSKA saw him help the club to the league title last season, while his personal tally in Russia stands at 103 games with 25 goals and as many assists.

He recently turned out for Japan in the Confederations Cup, and even managed a goal in their game against Italy.
