Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri has opened the door for striker Ibrahima Toure to leave the Stade Louis II, explaining he has told the player to find another club.

Toure top scored for Monaco last season as the side gained promotion from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1, however with the principality outfit spending big this summer, there is now no place for the Senegalese.

The 27-year-old will not be short of options, with Scottish champions Celtic having been linked with a bid, while Bastia, Montpellier, Rennes and Saint-Etienne are credited with wanting to keep the striker in France.

"I have told him we will play with a target man and [Emmanuel] Riviere is number two behind [Radamel] Falcao", Ranieri told reporters.

"He must find himself a club", added the Italian.

Toure joined Monaco in 2012 from United Arab Emirates outfit Ajman.

He found the back of the net on ten occasions in the final 17 games of Ligue 2 in the 2011/12 campaign, while last season he scored 18 goals in 35 league appearances.
