West Brom remain unabated by Marko Arnautovic's rejection of clubs such as West Ham, with the Baggies making a move for the Werder Bremen winger according to Kicker.

Even Celtic are reported to have previously tried their hand at signing Arnautovic, who Bremen are ready to sell alongside team-mate Eljero Elia.

Real Sociedad and Dynamo Kyiv were also seemingly interested in Arnautovic, but West Brom have now put their name in the hat.

West Brom have, so far, only made two full signings, including Nicolas Anelka from Juventus, but did manage a slight coup in bringing young star Matej Vydra over from Udinese on loan.

They did lose two wingers to fellow English clubs, and have set their eyes on Arnautovic, who turned out 26 times in the league last season with five goals and eight assists.

He has been on the bench for the first two league games and all the signs point towards a quick release.

West Ham's interest went back to early August, but Bremen are not understood to have received any bids from the London club.

Both Arnautovic and Elia were pulled up by Bremen's leadership over separate incidents of speeding back in May.

They were subsequently put on the transfer list but Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin had previously denied any approaches for Arnautovic at least

"At this point in time we are in no (transfer) talks with any club regarding the future of Marko Arnautovic", Eichin had said earlier this month.

"Marko Arnautovic is part of the first-team squad and has a contract at our club."
