Kevin De Bruyne's agent insists he has not had contact with any clubs over his client, despite speculation linking him with leaving Chelsea in January.

The Belgian playmaker has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge and boss Jose Mourinho has left him out of the club's last two matchday squads.

De Bruyne did not even travel with Chelsea to Romania for midweek Champions League action against Steaua Bucharest.

And Mourinho has told the Belgian that Werder Bremen, where he spent last term of loan, is not the same as Chelsea.

But now, despite a trio of clubs from Germany wanting De Bruyne, his agent says no talks have taken place.

"In the summer we decided that he should stay with Chelsea even though we knew the competition would be tough and Kevin would have to fight for playing time", Patrick De Koster told Bild.

"He keeps fighting.

"I have not had contact with other clubs. Even if the transfer window had been open I would not have talked to other clubs."
