Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has expressed his annoyance at the constant transfer speculation around team-mate Paul Pogba.

The French midfielder has been consistently placed on the radar of a number of clubs, with Arsenal and Manchester United thought to have had bids for him rejected in the summer transfer window.

And Chiellini is holding tight to that fact, refusing to believe that if Juventus were unwilling to sell Pogba in the summer that they are preparing to do just that now.

"The club does not want to lose him", Chiellini told Corriere dello Sport.

"That was already proven last summer. Do you think there were no interested clubs then?

"In Italy, everything has a price, but I do not think Pogba has any plans to leave."

The defender has now called for Pogba to be taken out of the spotlight and to be allowed to concentrate on developing his game in Turin.

"He is a young boy who must focus on football", said the tough-tackling defender.
