Fenerbahce left-back Caner Erkin is being followed by clubs outside of Turkey, according to his agent, as Liverpool become linked with a move.

Erkin is a full Turkey international with 26 caps, and has been at Fenerbahce since 2010.

The former Manisaspor defender spent a season on loan at Galatasaray whilst at CSKA Moscow, and is currently contracted with Fenerbahce until next summer.

Liverpool are deemed to be interested in the 25-year-old and, according to Fanatik, will attempt to lure Erkin away with an offer that involves an annual salary of £800,000.

And Erkin's agent Batur Altiparmak was quoted by the outlet as saying: "We know he is being followed abroad.

"He is, of course, a priority for Fenerbahce. At the end of the season, the contract ends but we will meet with Fenerbahce.

"We know he is followed abroad but there is nothing concrete. Currently, Caner cannot think of anything other than the team's success."

Caner is known to be of an attacking mindset with the left-back notching up a goal and nine assists in his 12 Super Lig games so far.
