Inter Milan and Fiorentina are following developments, even as Southampton refuse to sell the Italy international striker before the summer.

And according to Sky Italia, Osvaldo's representative is set to fly out from Italy to speak with Southampton chiefs about his client's future.

Both Inter and Fiorentina have been looking to snap him up on loan, but Southampton will seemingly only consider an outright purchase later this year.

Speculation has risen in recent weeks with Osvaldo having not featured in the Premier League since mid-December.

He is being rated at €16m by the south-coast club, with his contract lasting until 2017.

Osvaldo's tally for Southampton stands at 13 games but with just three goals.
