Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has announced some of the Nerazzurri could find themselves out on loan, in the club's bid to add players in winter.

Inter have already made clear they are looking for a striker, with Southampton's Pablo Osvaldo and Manchester City's Stevan Jovetic two high-profile targets.

Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi is also a potential arrival, though Inter face competition from AC Milan, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Regardless, Inter are at least adamant on making some purchases this winter, though it does mean some harsh realities for a few of the out-of-favour players at the San Siro.

"Most likely, we will purchase in January, but will decide along with the rest of the leadership," Thohir was quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport as saying.

"Some players will be sent out on loan. But every decision will be taken together with the coach."

Inter have endured a minor struggle in Serie A this season, and have drawn their last three league games, though they did beat Trapani Calcio 3-2 in the Coppa Italia recently.

And ex-president Massimo Moratti believes the change at the top could be a factor, saying: "It is a delicate moment for all.

"But I have a lot of confidence. Inter are looking for the right balance and coach [Walter] Mazzarri is strong, and able to establish a true relationship with his players.

"I do not know what will happen with Thohir, even if Inter will be a second family for him, but I really believe that Inter have a good future ahead."
