The race for Argentine winger Juan Manuel Iturbe has become one club lighter after Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio indicated that the sums involved in capturing the player are out of the Nerazzurri's reach.

Iturbe, who is on loan at Hellas Verona from Portuguese giants FC Porto, is the subject of interest from Liverpool, Roma and Juventus, who have all sounded out the player's representatives.

Verona have indicated that they would like to activate their purchase option, but the Argentine's future remains shrouded in mystery.

Some clarity has come from Ausilio though, who feels the starlet is too expensive for the Nerazzurri.

"He has great quality, but I think there are many foreign teams who follow him", the sporting director told Sky Italia.

"I do not believe that the figures required are within reach for Inter. I do not want to create expectations which deceive.

"It is fair to say that knowing the numbers involved with Iturbe there are not possibilities [for a deal]."
