The Bavarians are also willing to sweeten the deal by throwing in winger Xherdan Shaqiri in part-exchange, offering Fiorentina a ready-made replacement for Cuadrado.

The 25-year-old has made 22 appearances for Fiorentina in Serie A so far this season, chipping in with five goals and providing a further four assists for his team-mates.

Fiorentina coach Montella has admitted that income received from selling Cuadrado would allow him to reshape his squad, however the player's mother has advised him to stay put.
