Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj has been named in Belgium’s 24-man provision World Cup squad, after the teenager recently chose to represent the Belgian national team.

The 2013/14 campaign turned out to be the breakthrough campaign for Januzaj, where he cemented his place in the Manchester United first team.

Through his parentage the 19-year-old had a number of options with regard to the countries he could have represented in international football but Januzaj chose Belgium, the country of his birth.

Januzaj made 35 appearances for Manchester United this season and scored four goals.

Januzaj’s team-mate at Old Trafford and fellow Belgian Marouane Fellaini has also made the cut despite having a poor season for the Red Devils.
