Crystal Palace are the latest Premier League club to show an interest in Sporting Lisbon striker Islam Slimani.

The 26-year-old striker caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe with his eye catching performances for Algeria in the World Cup, where he scored two goals.

West Ham and Stoke City registered an interest in the striker earlier this summer and are keen to bring him to England.

However, Tony Pulis’ Crystal Palace are the latest English club to enter the race for Slimani, according to France Football.

Germany’s Mainz and Freiberg are also keen on the Algerian striker and are exploring possibilities to sign him.
