Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri has come out to tackle speculation surrounding a move away from the Allianz Arena this summer.

The Switzerland international, who is on an extended holiday following his participation in the World Cup, has been linked with Liverpool, Juventus and Monaco in recent weeks.

Bayern Munich have dismissed thoughts the 22-year-old could leave, however Shaqiri cut an unhappy figure at the club at the end of last season, bemoaning not being picked to feature in key games by coach Pep Guardiola.

But following quotes attributed to the winger in which he claimed moves to Liverpool, Juventus or Monaco would all be of interest, he has attempted to play down transfer talk.

Shaqiri wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear people, it is the time where a lot is written about, but as we know, there is little truth behind it.

"I would like to give my view on the rumours.

"As you all know, I am currently on holiday, so I am not concerning myself with other clubs, nor do I speak to any journalists.

"My contract with Bayern runs until 2016. My advisors are in regular contact with the people in charge at Bayern, which is why there is no reason for speculation."
