Liverpool are not the only club interested in signing Wilfried Bony from Swansea City, with two other sides on the Ivorian's tail.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is scouring the transfer market following the collapse of his side's move for QPR striker Loic Remy.

It has been suggested that Remy failed a medical with the Anfield outfit, but he has been staunchly defended by QPR boss Harry Redknapp, who maintains such a thing is impossible.

Nevertheless, Liverpool are looking elsewhere and Bony, a player linked with the Reds earlier this summer, is again under the microscope.

However, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Reds have company in their admiration of Bony, with two unnamed clubs also keen on snapping up the former Vitesse hitman.

Swansea boss Garry Monk is well aware Bony is a wanted man and issued a hands-off approach yesterday, warning any interested parties that they will have to pay an "astronomical" sum to secure the 25-year-old.

"At the end of the day he's not for sale, unless someone comes in with an astronomical offer", Monk explained.

"Unless they want to pay an astronomical fee he's going nowhere", the Swansea boss added.
