PSV Eindhoven defender Santiago Arias admits he is hoping to develop to a level which will see him able to join a bigger club, ideally Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.

The Colombia full-back has been lauded for his displays at the Philips Stadion this term and has helped PSV currently sit top of the Eredivisie table.

He was strongly linked with Manchester United last season and is already pinning his hopes on a move to a bigger club, when his work at PSV is done.

"Our priority is to win the championship. We will do everything to achieve that goal", he told PSV Supporter.

"I also want to do my bit and be part of the group that achieve that title.

"Then in the distant future I hope to have developed so well at PSV that I might be able to go to a big foreign league.

"For example, to a club like Arsenal", Arias added.

The 22-year-old, who operates as a right-back, was snapped up by PSV from Sporting Lisbon in 2013, having struggled to make an impact at the Portuguese giants.
