Torino are working overtime to do a deal with Fiorentina for Leeds United target Josip Ilicic.

Slovenian midfielder Ilicic is wanted by a number of clubs after falling out of favour at Fiorentina. The former Palermo man is open to an exit, but has rebuffed the idea of joining Bologna as it would mean dropping down to Serie B.

Bologna did manage to agree a deal with Fiorentina, something no other club have yet been able to do.

Ilicic has been linked with Leeds, but the Whites have stopped their transfer market dealings this month until the outcome of an appeal lodged by owner Massimo Cellino against a Football League sanction is delivered.
