Leeds United striker Steve Morison has labelled Sheffield Wednesday's pitch "a park" in a shot at the quality of the playing surface at Hillsborough.

Morison found the back of the net with a sweet volley against Charlton on Saturday, scoring Leeds' only goal in a 2-1 defeat at the Valley.

The former Millwall striker was impressed with the quality of Charlton's pitch at the Valley and laughed when comparing it to the surface the Whites will play on next weekend when they play Sheffield Wednesday in a Yorkshire derby on Saturday.

"If you can't get up for a derby, or a Yorkshire derby in any case, you're in the wrong job", Morison told LUTV.

"It will be the complete opposite to this game [against Charlton] because this is the best I've ever seen Charlton's pitch, I don't know what they've done. It's fantastic.
