Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has revealed he is fit to feature against Rotherham United at Elland Road tomorrow, but claims he will not play as "someone" does not want him in the team.

Silvestri was one of six players to declare themselves injured before Leeds faced Charlton Athletic on 18th April. It was a move which surprised head coach Neil Redfearn, who had expected all six to be available if required.

Second choice goalkeeper Stuart Taylor has played in Leeds' last two matches and it appears that Redfearn will keep faith with the former Arsenal man tomorrow.

Silvestri, who declared his intention to remain at Leeds earlier today, took to Twitter to vent his frustration and accused someone at the club of not wanting him involved against Rotherham.

The Italian wrote: "I'm really fit for play tomorrow.

"But I don't know why I'm not in the team.

"Someone doesn't want me on the team for the last match. #sadforthat"

Silvestri has made 43 appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season and had established himself as a firm fan favourite.

However, his standing was damaged in the eyes of some fans for being part of the injured six, who were roundly criticised amid suggestions they were involved in a protest of some sort and were fit to play.
