Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and Arsenal linked French international Yohan Cabaye has indicated that he is ready to take a firm decision on his future in Paris this summer.

Since joining the French champions in January last year, the Frenchman has struggled to nail down a spot in Laurent Blanc’s PSG team and things haven’t improved much recently.

With the European Championship scheduled to take place in France next summer, Cabaye is worried about his place in Didier Deschamps’ national squad and with only eleven starts in the league this season under his belt, the former Newcastle man is ready to make a decision on his future this summer.

Cabaye has made just one appearance in PSG’s last five league fixtures and he admits that he has never experienced this kind of a situation in his career.

The former Newcastle midfielder stressed that he will talk with the club and his representatives to come to a decision on his future at PSG as he is not pleased with the current limbo in his career.

“This is a special moment in my career, I have never experienced this”, the former Magpies midfielder told Canal Football Club.

“We must accept it, but that does not mean we will do nothing to change it.

“The Euro will be an important criterion; I’ll talk with the coach, with my representatives, and the club will do what they have to do.

“We will think carefully because it will be an important decision for me.”

The former Newcastle midfielder is still in demand in England and both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be interested in acquiring his services.
