Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has ruled out leaving the Madrid outfit this summer amidst talk of interest from Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.

Koke, a product of Atletico Madrid youth academy, has been a regular in the first team starting eleven from the 2012/13 season onwards and he has been an indispensable presence in Diego Simeone’s team.

Pulling the strings from his midfield position, the 23-year-old has gone on to make over 200 appearances for the La Liga giants and played a stellar role in their league triumph and Champions League runners-up finish last season.

His performances have earned admiring glances from Mourinho, who managed Atletico Madrid’s fierce rivals Real Madrid from 2010 until 2013, and is now in charge of Chelsea.

However, the Spain international has ruled out making a move this summer to the Premier League and is content with his current employers.
