Saint-Etienne are ready to sell former Leeds United forward Max Gradel this summer, but only if their asking price of €10m is met.

Gradel has just enjoyed a prolific season with Saint-Etienne, helping Les Verts to a finish of fifth in Ligue 1 with his 17 goals in France's top flight.

The 27-year-old has criticised Saint-Etienne's ambition, which he sees as lacking, while also admitting that returning to England, where he also played for Leicester City and Bournemouth is a dream.

However, Gradel has not pushed for a move and has struck a conciliatory tone in recent weeks.

But according to France Football, Les Verts are prepared to sell Gradel if the price is right – and that price is €10m.

The figure may scare off a number of the forward's suitors, while Saint-Etienne are in the driving seat due to Gradel being under contract until the summer of 2017.

Since joining the French club in 2011 Gradel has made over 100 appearances in a green shirt.
