The agent of Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United target Aymen Abdennour claims that there is plenty of big-club interest in his client this summer, adding Liverpool to the mix.

Abdennour currently turns out in Ligue 1 for Monaco and was part of one of the tightest defensive units in Europe last season, helping the principality outfit reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League against all expectations.

Monaco are thought to be willing to sell the defender for the right price and the player's agent revealed at the end of May that he had taken phone calls from Newcastle and Spurs, along with other sides, asking about his client.

Now he has brought big sides into the mix, claiming several of Europe's elite clubs are alive to the Tunisia international.

"There are lots of big clubs interested in Abdennour", the agent told Foot Mercato.
