Arsenal and Manchester United target Morgan Schneiderlin is expecting is future to be sorted out by next week.

The French international has stated that he would like to leave Southampton this summer if a Champions League club come calling for him.




And with Manchester United and Arsenal in the race for his signature, there is speculation that Schneiderlin is on his way out of St. Mary’s in the transfer window.

The Frenchman revealed that he is indeed negotiating a move away from Southampton and said that he expects the transfer to be sorted out by next week.
 


"The negotiations are ongoing and should be completed in the coming days", Schneiderlin told France Bleu Alsace radio station.

"Hopefully before the resumption of [Southampton’s pre-season] training next week."

The midfielder was close to leave the Saints last summer but the club blocked his sale after losing a number of key players from their squad.

After reaching a truce with Southampton, the 25-year-old played a key role Ronald Koeman’s men finishing seventh in the league table last season.

However, Schneiderlin feels at this stage of his career he should be playing Champions League football and has stated his desire to remain in England.
