Napoli full-back Faouzi Ghoulam is flattered to be linked with clubs such as Arsenal and Real Madrid, but insists he is not spending too much time listing to rumours this summer.

Ghoulam's fine performances in Serie A have put him on the radar at a number of sides, with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger mooted as being keen to take him to the Emirates Stadium.

Also linked with the defender are Real Madrid, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Jose Mourinho's Chelsea, in further confirmation of how he has turned the heads of Europe's elite.

But Ghoulam is determined to keep his feet on the ground and not be distracted by transfer talk.

"It's nice to be spoken about in connection with prestigious clubs", he told Le Buteur when asked about the speculation.

"But frankly, I do not pay too much attention.

"I'm not bothering my head with that. I'm on holiday at the moment. We'll see [what happens]."

Former Napoli coach Rafael Benitez pounced to take Ghoulam to Italy from French side Saint-Etienne in the January 2014 transfer window.

The 24-year-old quickly set about making an impact in Naples and established himself as a regular member of the side under Benitez.
