Bayern Munich new boy Arturo Vidal feels Kingsley Coman would be a great addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad at the Allianz Arena.

The Chilean midfielder completed his switch from Juventus to Bayern Munich earlier this summer and the Bavarians are still interested in signing one more player from the Italian champions.

19-year-old French starlet Coman is on the Bavarians’ shopping list and though Juventus have knocked back their approach, the German champions are expected to pursue him until the final days of the transfer window.

And Vidal has endorsed Bayern Munich’s move for the young forward, who has also been linked with a move to Arsenal.

The midfielder feels his former Juventus team-mate is a great talent and would be a great signing for Bayern Munich if they manage to prise him away from Turin.

In an interview with German magazine Sport Bild, the 28-year-old said: “Kingsley is not only young, but is also very strong and above all a quick player.

“He still has a lot of development left in him and if he follows me to Bayern, then he would be a great support for the team.”

Coman caught the attention of his suitors in his limited time for Juventus last season and even made a late appearance in the Champions League final against Barcelona.

Juventus snapped him up from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and he still has five years left on his contract with the club.
