Paul Hart is due to take up the job of academy director with Leeds United tomorrow after agreeing terms on a return to the club.

The 62-year-old, who turned out for Leeds as a player, previously ran the club's academy with much success in the 1990s.

Now he has been tempted back to Elland Road and according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, is due to begin work tomorrow at the club's Thorp Arch complex.

Hart held talks with Leeds owner Massimo Cellino on Friday last week and thrashed out an agreement with the Italian businessman.

The former manager replaces Neil Redfearn as the club's academy chief after he exited his post earlier this summer.

Redfearn was appointed head coach of the senior side last season, but his contract contained a clause which said if his services were no longer required by the first team he could take up his prior role at the academy.

But Leeds did not let Redfearn return to his role and he blasted the club for making an insincere offer before leaving Elland Road for good earlier this summer.
