RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has issued a hands-off warning to clubs interested in forward Emil Forsberg, amid the player being linked with Liverpool.

The Swedish forward has been turning in some impressive performances in the second tier of German football and is expected to play a key role in Leipzig’s attempts to achieve promotion to Bundesliga.

With five goals and four assists to his name this season, Forsberg has played a major role in the club occupying top spot in the German second tier and has also attracted the interest of Premier League giants Liverpool.

It has been suggested that the Reds are weighing up a move for the forward and could put in a bid of around €9m, but Leipzig have issued a hands off warning.

Mintzlaff revealed that they are not going to entertain any approach for Forsberg and the player is definitely not for sale at the moment.
