Barcelona are unlikely to part with Tottenham Hotspur target Sandro Ramirez today if they don’t sign another forward in the coming hours.

The north London club have been interested in taking the Spaniard to England in the winter window and reportedly contacted the player’s representatives late in December to discuss a potential move.

It was suggested that they even made a contract offer, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are reluctant to sell the player if they fail to land a forward of their own on deadline day.

Barcelona have been keen to bolster their attacking reserves in the winter window, but saw their approach for Nolito rejected by Celta Vigo last week and are unlikely to sign anyone else in the coming hours.

With the chances of another attacker walking through the Camp Nou doors slim, it has been suggested that the Blaugrana are unlikely to weaken their squad by allowing Ramirez to move to Tottenham.

Malaga and Swansea are also interested in signing the 20-year-old forward, but Ramirez is unlikely to leave the Catalan giants, at least until the end of the season.

The Spaniard has been a bit part player at Barcelona this season with 19 appearances in all competitions and has a contract until 2017 with the club.
