Roma are keen on winning the race for Michy Batshuayi in the summer transfer window as they hunt a prolific striker.

The Marseille man is attracting interest from a number of clubs, with English sides Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United having been widely linked with the Belgium international; Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed his side's interest, while West Ham were recently reported to have slapped in a bid for the player.

Roma tried to snap up Batshuayi from Standard Liege, but came up short, and according to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo, have again identified the striker as a top target.

The Giallorossi are ready to offload former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko to make financial room for Batshuayi, with coach Luciano Spalletti unconvinced by the Bosnian.

Batshuayi has been in good form for Marseille this season, despite the Ligue 1 outfit having a poor campaign.
