Lille full-back Djibril Sidibe admits that there is a chance that he might opt for a transfer this summer after West Ham joined Sunderland in the chase for his signature.

The defender was in fine form for Lille last season and with his performances, he has attracted the roving eyes of a few clubs across Europe, including from the Premier League.




While Monaco are said to be leading the chase for Sidibe, Sunderland are also said to be in the race and according to French sports daily L’Equipe West Ham are the latest club to join the queue for the full-back.

And with a number of clubs keeping tabs on him, the product of the Troyes academy admits that he might leave Lille in the coming months of the summer transfer window.
 


However, he added that a number of factors will be taken into account before he makes a decision on his future.

When asked whether he will leave Lille this summer, the defender said: “There is a good chance.

“Everything will depend on the project.

"I am open to all, but we will think in terms of Champions League, my time of play, my family and the financial aspect.”

He made 43 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit last season and has a contract until 2019 with Lille.
