Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with AZ Alkmaar for the signature of Tottenham Hotspur target Vincent Janssen, according to French sports daily L’Equipe.

The 22-year-old Dutch striker attracted the prying eyes of a few top European clubs with his performances at AZ last season, netting 27 goals in his first campaign in the Eredivisie.

Tottenham have been keen to add his predatory talent to their squad this summer, and have held talks with the player and his representatives in recent weeks, but AZ have rejected their initial €14m offer for the striker.

And it has been suggested that PSG have entered the chase for the striker, and are in talks with the Eredivisie outfit over a proposed deal for the Dutch international.

The French champions are looking to add a striker this summer after losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Janssen is one of the players who are on their shortlist of targets.
