Marseille have accepted an offer from Crystal Palace for in-demand striker Michy Batshuayi in order to flush out interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and West Ham United, according to the Times.

Alan Pardew's Palace lodged a €38m bid for the Belgium international striker yesterday and Marseille accepted the offer.

But it is less than clear whether Batshuayi is ready to join Crystal Palace as it is suggested he is willing to reject the Eagles.

And it is claimed that Marseille are using Palace in order to force Batshuayi's other suitors, Spurs, Juventus and West Ham, to come to the negotiating table or risk losing the hitman.

Marseille are under pressure to sell the striker this summer as they look to fill a black hole in their finances.
