Burnley, West Brom and Middlesbrough are all in the hunt for Leeds United left-back Charlie Taylor, who has handed in a transfer request at Elland Road.

Taylor is keen to play in the Premier League and appears to have reached the conclusion that doing so with Leeds may well be some way off. He has just a year left on his contract with the Whites and has refused to sign an extension.

The left-back's agent handed in a transfer request on behalf of his client on Sunday evening, but it is not yet known how the club have responded.

If Leeds do agree to sell then they will not be short of options, with Burnley, West Brom and Middlesbrough in the mix, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Burnley and West Brom are claimed to be keen, while Middlesbrough have been linked and a move to any one of the three would give Taylor the chance to play Premier League football.
