Roma are considering the prospect of selling Cengiz Under, with Arsenal and Chelsea both firm fans of the winger.

The Serie A giants could be forced to sell one of their top stars at the end of the season, though Arsenal failed with a bid for Under towards the end of the year.

A lot will depend on whether Roma manage to qualify for next season’s Champions League, but the club are said to have taken a key decision on one of their top stars regardless.

And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A giants are likely to consider letting Under go for big money in the summer in order to fund their incomings and balance their books.

The Turkey winger joined the Giallorossi in 2017 and has been a key player for Roma over the last 18 months.

19-year-old winger Nicolo Zaniolo has been attracting the interest of big clubs as well, but Roma are likely to listen to offers for Under, who they believe could attract top money.

There has been considerable interest in the 21-year-old from the Premier League and Chelsea are claimed to be keen on taking him to Stamford Bridge.

But Chelsea are currently under a FIFA transfer ban and any move for Under could depend on the Court of Arbitration for Sports putting a stay on the order while they listen to the club’s appeal; that would open up the summer window for the Blues to do deals.
