Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Micky van de Ven is fit to feature against Luton Town on Saturday.

Van de Ven missed a large chunk of his debut season in the Premier League with a hamstring injury between November and January.

He suffered another knock on his hamstring earlier this month in Tottenham’s 4-0 defeat at Aston Villa and missed their 3-0 defeat at Fulham ahead of the international break.

The Dutchman made a quick recovery over the international break and Postecoglou revealed that he has trained with the squad this week.

The Tottenham boss claimed that none of the international players have returned with any injuries and Van de Ven will be in the squad to take on Luton at home on Saturday.

Postecoglou said in a press conference: “All the internationals got through unscathed.

“They’ve come back all good.

“Micky was the one who missed the last game.

“He’s trained the last few days so he’s available.”

Tottenham are sitting fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa and six points ahead of sixth-placed Manchester United.
