Santos striker and Brazilian international Neymar has slammed reports that he has a private, pre-contract deal with Catalan giants Barcelona and insists that until any agreement with any club is reached, he will remain committed to his current side.

Neymar has been in fine form for the Brazilian club domestically this season, clocking up six goals in just nine appearances, continuing his fine form of last year, where he scored a total of 34 goals in just 33 matches. This form has attracted a host of top clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Even French club Monaco’s billionaire owner is planning an ambitious swoop for the Brazilian.

But Neymar insists he is going nowhere and is focused on playing with Santos at the moment. "I’ve said it a thousand times – I do not have any agreement with Barcelona", Neymar was quoted as saying by Calcio Mercato. "I am a Santos player and that’s the only thing I have to say."

Neymar had already previously rubbished the reports that Barcelona had a pre-contract agreement with him and has committed himself to Santos in the near future.

Bayern Munich, for their part, have already deemed that Neymar’s transfer to the Allianz Arena is unlikely, despite reported interest from incoming manager Pep Guardiola, citing that the Brazilian’s price tag may spike up to €70M.

Neymar’s contract with Santos runs until 2014 and has promised to stay with the club until then.
