FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli could be heading to Juventus next season after the Serie A club made a €12m offer for the Belgian international, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.

The 23-year-old will almost certainly head abroad, with Twente not keen on selling him to Eredivisie rivals, and interest has come not just from Juventus, but also from Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.

Shakhtar Donetsk most recently joined the race for the talented Chadli, who scored 10 goals in his 22 league games for Twente and did not sign an extension to his current contract at Twente.

He has already indicated his desire to be part of a Champions-League side and it means Liverpool can count their chances as low.

Chadli has just one year left on his contract at Twente and it is believed Juventus have firmed up their intentions with an offer.

Shakhtar Donetsk announced plans to snap up Chadli by inviting him to visit their club in the Ukraine, and it remains an open possibility given their participation in next season’s Champions League.

Ajax director of football Marc Overmars had previously stated his club would like to buy Chadli’s services, adding that he "fits in well with our style of play".

However, that option is very likely to be rejected by Twente, given the relatively close proximity between the rival teams in the league table.
