Brazilian defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo appears to be heading towards the Bayern Munich exit door, but he will not be short of options with Arsenal, Chelsea and Wolfsburg all keen.

New Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola is intent on reducing the numbers in his squad and, following the arrival of Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona, Gustavo is a prime candidate for the chop.



The Bavarians will have little trouble finding clubs to sell Gustavo to and, according to L’Equipe, Arsenal, Chelsea and Wolfsburg are fans of the midfielder.

Indeed, the Wolves have been vocal over their admiration for Gustavo.

But shipping the player out may not be a simple task for Guardiola, despite the interest the Brazilian is commanding.

The 26-year-old has expressed his desire to remain at the Allianz Arena and fight for his place under the former Barcelona coach.

And his current contract in Munich runs until 2015.
