Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has opened the door for defender Mamadou Sakho to leave the club, promising to do his best to "find the best solution" to the player's situation.

Sakho is concerned about a lack of playing time at PSG, especially in a World Cup year and is ready to seek his fortune elsewhere.

He has attracted interest from AC Milan and Liverpool, something he admitted to finding flattering earlier this summer, while Monaco are also keeping tabs on his situation at the Parc des Princes.

And Blanc is ready to help Sakho; it has been mooted PSG want the defender to sign a contract extension as a condition for loaning him out.

"He expressed his desire to find a solution", Blanc told reporters, on his chat with Sakho.

"The club have a very clear position.

"Before 2nd September and the end of the transfer window, the situation is sure to develop.

"We will try to find the best solution for the player and the club."

It remains to be seen which clubs will put concrete offers on the table for Sakho before the window closes, but the defender has been told by a former PSG coach that the time has come to continue his development away from the Parc des Princes.
