Zinedine Zidane has called up his son Enzo Zidane for Real Madrid Castilla's match on Sunday against UB Conquense.

Should the France legend hand his son minutes on the pitch for Real Madrid Castilla, it will be the first time Enzo has turned out for Real Madrid's second string in a competitive game.

At present Enzo plays with Real Madrid's C team, however he has experience of training at a higher level, with Jose Mourinho having invited him to senior training while in charge at the Bernabeu.

Zinedine's other sons are also in the Real Madrid youth system with Luca (16), Theo (12) and Elyaz (8) involved at different age groups.

Zinedine was recently suspended by the Spanish FA for not having the requisite coaching qualifications, however the sanctions imposed have been lifted temporarily while the Spanish Sports Administrative Tribunal come to a view on the case.

The French Football Federation sprung to Zinedine's defence immediately following the sanction, insisting he is working towards his qualifications under their supervision and commenting in a statement: "The FFF would like to reiterate its support for Zidane following the decision by the Spanish Commission to sanction him for not having the necessary coaching diploma.

"The FFF National Technical Directorate has sent the Spanish Federation all the relevant elements attesting to the fact that Zidane is pursuing all training modules with professionalism and diligence."

Following a poor start to the season, Real Madrid Castilla are unbeaten in their last six games, having clocked up four victories in the run.
