Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is confident about his side's chances of signing Martin Odegaard.

The 15-year-old Norwegian sensation has been training with the Bavarians under the watchful eye of Pep Guardiola, and has also had a tour of the club's facilities.

It was the latest stop for Odegaard, who trained with Liverpool last week and has also been chased by Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Celtic.

Celtic have been placing their hope in Odegaard talking with countryman Stefan Johansen, the midfielder admitting he has tried to convince the youngster the Scottish champions are his best option.

Rummenigge however has cut a supremely confident figure over the Stromsgodset talent's arrival.

"Martin Odegaard is a completely exceptional talent and a great person, and he is very good for his age", Rummenigge told Bild.

"We like what we see and I think we have a good chance of getting him here."

Bayern Munich plan to offer Odegaard a first team contract to allow him every chance of featuring in the starting eleven. However, if he does not make the grade at once, they will look to loan him out.
