Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has told his club that he wants to switch to Roma this summer, according to Sky Italia.

The Giallorossi have been on the Bosnian’s tail for months and are chipping away to reach an agreement with Manchester City over a fee.

While the English giants’ initial demand of €30m did came as a shock for Roma, the Italians are keen to get the deal done and have reopened talks with the Manchester City.

The Giallorossi have made an improved offer of €20m for Dzeko and are hoping that they can soon get a deal done to take him to the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

While Manchester City are yet to accept the bid, the forward is claimed to be doing his bit to engineer his move out of the Etihad before the start of the new season.
