Newcastle United want €1m to part with promising young midfielder Olivier Kemen, it has been claimed.

Kemen has turned heads with his performances in the youth ranks at St. James' Park and the Frenchman, who starred at the European Under-19 Championship, is not short of suitors.

Premier League pair Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are keen, as are AC Milan and Monaco.

Now the asking price for Kemen is known as, according to France Football, Monaco have had a €500,000 bid rejected for the midfielder.

And Newcastle have asked the principality outfit to double the sum should they want to secure Kemen's signature.

Whether the Magpies would be willing to sell for €1m to Premier League rivals however remains to be seen, but the club do appear ready to allow Kemen to leave for the right price.

The 19-year-old midfielder has not yet managed a senior side appearance for Newcastle and could slip out of St. James' Park without having pulled on a senior shirt with the Magpies.
